I'm Tomas Panak.
I'm a Chartered Chemical Process Engineer with 19 years in engineering and infrastructure: the first decade hands-on and technical, the last in project, commercial and contract leadership on major projects.
I started Spare Mind AI because every owner I know wishes they had a spare mind to take the tenders, the quotes, the reporting and the follow-ups off their plate. That is what I build.
Why an engineer
I think in systems and root causes. Before I build anything I want to know where the time actually goes, measured, not guessed. I build with checks between the steps and a fallback if something fails, because that is how plant is designed to run safely. And I prove the result with the same measurement, so you never have to take my word for it.
The commercial side matters too. I have spent years on contracts, pricing and risk, so every price is fixed and every scope is written down before work starts.
What I've built
In my engineering career I built an automated approvals process on Microsoft Forms, Teams, SharePoint and Power Automate to replace email chains for signatures and timesheets, and a risk contingency tool that was adopted across a business unit.
Since then I've built a complete media business that runs on Claude: research, scripting, packaging, a website that publishes itself and the checks in between. Read the case study.
